INTRODUCTION:
I’m a highly motivated, goal and team-oriented professional, with more than 5 years of experience in management and business consulting with strong analytical skills, ample experience in designing and implementing operational control systems, in identifying the opportunities for improvements in profitability in just about any operational clerical and service areas through the knowledge of numerous proprietary techniques such as interviews, observation, data and statistical analysis studies and other methods. Able to quickly identify problems, successfully negotiate and implement strategies, procedures and solutions, for a wide range of operational or clerical areas. I acquire this experience while working for more than 4 years for Proudfoot Consulting, Mexico City, (Alpro Servicios Gerenciales de Mexico). During this time I intensely participated in areas such as: Management Skills Laboratory (MSL), Process Consultant and Analysis Consultant. Furthermore, I have recently undertaken privately 2 medium size productivity projects on the food services industry, achieving sustainable results by increasing efficiency and measurable operational improvements, resulting on most of the cases on more than 28% betterment of their statistic profitability performance. The Smugglers cove Restaurant identifying and reducing excessive costs of labor on more than 28%, eliminating overtime, improving raw material usage on 31% and improving overall operational performance resulting on a substantial profits increase from losing $230,000 on the previews 2 years to $78,000 profits at the end of the one year project.

My last participation in the consulting area was in January, 2002 when I was hired to increase productivity and efficiency levels for a restaurant located in Brookings-Harbor, OR. “The Smuggler’s Cove” had been experiencing losses in the order of $120,000.00 annually during the previous 2 years (9% of their gross annual revenue). The project lasted one year and the financial benefits of my participation were reflected in profits of $78,000.00 (6% of their gross annual revenue) by reducing downtime and improving forecasting accuracy resulting in more reliable crew planning, optimizing inventories of raw materials, considerably reducing waste and re-work and eliminating shortages of money.

Part of the training staff in the area of Management Skills Laboratory whose objective was to train, sensitize and involve middle management in support of the installation of Operational Systems of Control designed by ALPRO which were to be installed in different areas of the companies contracting the services. Case in point: “Vitro Envases de Querétaro, Querétaro”, Mexico; a project lasting eight months in which by the sixth month I was appointed head of the Management Skills Laboratory. Participated in the analysis of the levels of production and efficiency at “Tequila Sauza”, of Guadalajara, Mexico, the leading manufacturer of tequila in Mexico. PRINVER, Productos Industriales de Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico, producer of oilducts for PEMEX. (Mexican Oils) Installation manager assistant of project designed and implemented the operational system for Proudfoot. Results achieved included the reduction of non-productive time of machines by utilizing more efficient planning, a 32% reduction in payroll costs by optimizing and controlling the operation and by the elimination of "rework", and a more effective supervision by means of training in the area of management abilities in middle management.
